Redlands College offers a range of enterprise activities.

In 2006, 65 students will have the opportunity to participate in the school’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) program.

The school would like to engage with businesses to provide school-based apprenticeships or traineeships in the following areas:

  • beauty therapy
  • boiler making
  • building
  • business
  • carpentry
  • drafting
  • electrical
  • engineering
  • graphics
  • hairdressing
  • hospitality
  • information technology
  • jewellery making
  • marine
  • mechanical
  • media
  • plumbing
  • retail
  • sport and recreation
     

 

Staff experience in industry required

Redlands College wants to ensure teachers delivering Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs have up-to-date skills and knowledge of business and industry.

The College would like to engage with industry representatives who  provide an opportunity for staff to participate in work activities.

These placements will ensure that the learning and assessment strategies in vocational programs offered at Redlands College meet industry expectations.
 

Looking for work experience opportunities

Redlands College encourages students to participate in work experience to explore individual career paths of their choosing.

Students are able to participate in block and day release programs.

Redlands College would be interested in hearing from businesses that would be in a position to provide valuable learning opportunities through work experience placements in any of the following areas:
