Distance from Dunwich Ferry Terminal:   17 km

Directions from ferry terminal:  From the ferry head up the hill past the information centre then turn left into Ballow Rd.  Follow the road around to the right where it becomes the Bingle Road/East Coast Road.
 
After 10.8KM (just past the information sign) turn left into Beehive Rd (follow the signs to Amity Point).  At the next intersection follow the signs to Flinders Beach or drive out to Point Lookout and enter the beach at the Adder Rock Beach access (first street on your left at Point Lookout - opposite the bus stop/Tramican Street). 

Description of camping ground:  This camping area is for four wheel drives (4WD) only as it can only be accessed by driving along the beach. A 4WD permit is required. The cost of an annual 4WD permit is in addition to the camping fees. Click here for more details on 4WDs on Straddie beaches >> 
 
The only facilities on Flinders beach are four Clivus Multrim (composting toilets), so bring everything you are going to need for this back to nature camping experience.  Enjoy the vast expanse pristine sandy beach whilst camping amongst the sand dunes.  Dogs are allowed but only on a leash. 
 
Camping areas are behind the foredunes and designated with blue tent signs. There are 200 sites only on Flinders Beach and bookings are essential, particularly at peak times.
