Flinders Beach

Flinders Beach stretches between Point lookout and Amity Point, offering excellent fishing, foreshore camping and swimming. It is accessible by 4WD from Amity Point or Point Lookout.

At the Point lookout end of Flinders, the headland Adder Rock provides a sheltered spot for beach lovers. The rock often provides a point break for surfers too.

Flinders is patrolled by roving lifesaver rescue boats and mobile 4WD patrols on weekends and public holidays, during Queensland Christmas and Easter school holidays.

At the Amity point end of Flinders you can give your dog a run off the lead in the special off leash area.
