Visitor centre, toilets, walking trails, native botanical gardens, tea garden, nursery, bookshop, picnic areas and barbecues.

Access

Entry via Runnymede Rd Capalaba.  Bus Route 1, stop Redland Bay Rd or route 6 on Vienna Rd.

Walk

Easy, disabled-friendly trail and gardens. Dogs on leash and bicycles permitted.

What to see

Display gardens of local native plants, easily accessible bush trails, lake and viewing platform.

What to do

Walking, bird-watching, wildflower photography, koala spotting, guided and self-guided walks.

Wildlife of interest

Reliable for koala spotting, turtles, water dragons, skinks, kingfishers, water birds, forest and woodland birds such as honeyeaters, Eastern yellow robins, Dollarbirds and Rainbow bee-eaters.

Plants of interest

Scribbly gum forest and wetland. Wide range of wildflowers in natural bush setting as well as display gardens. Hovea acutifolia and Acacia fimbriata var perangusta is a feature in late winter.
