Young Citizens Program (YCP)
The Young Citizens Program (YCP) is packed with interesting educational activities for your students aimed at providing real world examples for classroom topics.
By taking part in the YCP, students will see their local government in action and learn how they can ‘have their say’ in their own community. Care has been taken to help ensure that presentations are relevant to school syllabuses and curriculum learning outcomes.

The program is designed to be very easily accessed by teachers. Booking an excursion or a speaker to visit your school is as easy as making a phone call or online. Most activities are provided free of charge.
